The Simin Enclave had stood as a beacon of Primadon technological prowess for generations. Serving as a combination think-tank, covert refuge, and military research facility, many of the most advanced technological innovations on Marr had come from the tree-top fortress hidden deep in the Montane jungles, far from the swamp regions where the Marro infestation bred and multiplied with every passing year.

For so long had it stood, hidden, that many of the gifted minds and capable soldiers who called it home could not conceive of it coming under threat. This oversight would ultimately be their downfall.

Nurim and Jayar had been raised in the Enclave, learning and training alongside some of the most talented scientists, technicians, and field agents of the Primadon civilization. They played a critical role in developing mechanized prosthetic armor systems and projectile shielding technologies. But none of these inventions could save their home when the Marro finally struck.

The attack came at night, bypassing their defenses and infiltrating the very heart of the Enclave in a matter of minutes. The Orangunator siblings fought desperately alongside the Primadon defense forces, flamethrowers lighting up the canopy of their beloved home, now crawling with vile, skinless monstrosities. For every Marro they flung to a scorching, shrieking death, another rose in its place.

But in the same moment that the Simin Enclave fell to the Marro invasion, Nurim and Jayar were spared. Vydar of Anund had been granted a vision, not only of their doomed final stand, but of their scientific prowess and knack for working alongside other gifted minds. The Orangunators recognized the chance they had been given, not only to fight another day to save their people, but to advance their knowledge of the universe and its mysteries beyond anything they could have dreamt of on Marr.

And when Doctor Valentina Lockheart was asked to choose who she wanted on hand for Heimdall Station’s daily operations, Nurim and Jayar were first on her list.

The Orangunators are available in the Scientists of the Umbral Covenant army expansion. Pre-order now for a May 2027 release!
